Mood of the project- “Lyaadh” by the river Hooghly: Arnesh Ghosh

Architectural interventions play a pivotal role in shaping the daily life of a city. Thus, it’s vital to articulate how a particular intervention would impact its surroundings. This illustration serves as a visual narrative of my thesis project, elucidating how both built and unbuilt elements influence the urban fabric. Divided into three distinct segments, each characterized by a different time of day, the drawing delineates the projected patterns of usage. Through this representation, I aim to convey my conjecture regarding the most utilized aspects of the project at various times. The process begins with a SketchUp model, extracting lines and shadows. Textures and colors are added in Photoshop, while final lineweights are adjusted in Illustrator.
