This drawing was made for AD-08 design studio. The site context of lansdowne-santhepet block , offered an inclusive intervention. The drawing was made as an iteration on a tracing paper. The intent behind the drawing was creating an internal public street. The street at the ground floor level was curated to offer three choices to the user- one: to enter a program, two: to step out into an open court , three: to step into a common folly.
The medium employed here is color pencils and fine liner pens. The existing built is shown in brown and all the new programs are drawn in black. The idea behind the representation was to capture that essence of publicness of the street that offered a choice to the user. The street is represented in black, the follies in purple and open spaces in yellow. The drawing later helped in ideating and establishing an orderly relation between the varying elements.
