he GIF was a part of our entry for The Drawing Board Competition 2022 which explores the evolving relationship between space and its occupants. As an extension of Kala Academy Goa—this project serves as both a memorial to Charles Correa and an active cultural space.
The GIF illustrates the layering and dynamic nature of spaces, showcasing how different user groups interact with the memorial throughout the day. Beyond static architectural representation, the visualization captures movement, time, and human presence, making the space feel alive. The inclusion of human figures emphasizes scale, movement, the vibrancy of public life.
Rendered in a sketchy, expressive format, the visualization retains conceptual openness, allowing viewers to imagine the space in continuous motion. Poetics of Occupancy is about how architecture lives through its users, as an ever-changing stage for human experiences.
