This graphic unfolds the vibrant threshold of Devaraja Market—where architecture meets activity, and the city meets its oldest commerce. Captured here is not just a facade, but a living front layered with color, rhythm, and the everyday pulse of Mysore’s public life. The path is twisted into a sort of Labyrinth to express the diversity and curiosity despite it’s linearity in form. The form speaks for itself, but the most overlooked character of the elevation yet the most important are the customized boards of each shop, with their own history and personality, depicted by the hand drawn little boards. Overall, although an impossible task the graphic attempts to encapsulate the unique experience of the facade within one frame.
