“Look up People: exploration of an offline space in an online world” , was created using a mixed-media digital workflow combining SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Fresco. The base of the composition is a sectional perspective exported from SketchUp, which provided the volumetric clarity and spatial organisation of the architectural proposal. Over this, multiple layers of hand-drawn elements were added using Adobe Fresco to introduce a more intuitive, expressive quality. Textures, collage figures, and graphic patterns were layered in Photoshop, allowing precise control over contrast, colour, and depth.
The final image blends digital linework, painted overlays, and photographic cutouts, creating a hybrid visual language that feels architectural yet playful. Layer masks, blend modes, and custom brushes were used extensively to build density and rhythm without overwhelming the central narrative. The result is a deliberately “glitchy” and dynamic representation that mirrors the conceptual intent of the project—inviting viewers to pause, look up, and question what a public building can be.
