The drawing presents the proposal as an exploded axonometric, revealing the museum as a layered spatial system embedded within the contours of the fort landscape. By separating the different levels, walls, decks, structural members, and programmatic zones, the drawing makes visible the way the project negotiates between terrain, movement, and public use.
The site called attention to the opportunity of traversing through the multiple levels it offered. The museum positions itself as a bridge between the three gateways on the west and the fort area on the east, allowing movement through the building to become part of the experience of the site. The exploded drawing highlights this act of passage, showing how the visitor moves across platforms, decks, ramps, and enclosed spaces while remaining connected to the surrounding topography.
At the ground level, the proposal opens itself as an inviting hub for tourists to pause, gather, and take in the experience of the place. At the same time, it becomes an accessible public space for the local settlement, offering moments of repose within everyday routines. The drawing captures this dual role by showing the café, open-air theatre, road edge, museum spaces, administration, restroom, and deck as interconnected parts rather than isolated functions.
The extent of the proposal has been used to relook at the nature of exhibiting artefacts in a museum. Instead of treating the museum as a closed container, the project disperses the act of display across levels, thresholds, and transitional spaces. The exploded axonometric therefore becomes more than a representational drawing; it explains the architectural intent of the project by revealing how structure, circulation, landscape and exhibition come together as one continuous experience.
